Hi Britt and family, God's blessings for you all. I believe the anti christ will be of Assyrian decent. That's just my opinion 🤷. Anyway, We are looking for Jesus Christ not the anti christ. Thank God. Thank you for the article 🙏 very informative. It was the best I have read about, Who he could be. I don't believe he will be Muslim.

Thanks, Deloris! Yes, I agree. I don't think he will be Muslim. He may turn out to be "culturally" Muslim, but based on what the Bible says, I think it's clear his philosophy is humanistic.

I have listened to Dr. Bill Salus for a few years and he believes that the Antichrist may come from the tribe of Dan as Britt suggests as a possibility. That one overall makes more sense to me than any of the others.

Certainly a fascinating debate. The Tribulation folks will be bombarded with delusions as we see ramping up in our times. How to convey the real deal vs. counterfeit in simple terms?

Yes, deception will be rampant in the Tribulation, and unfortunately, many people will be deceived. We need to keep preaching the Word of God, plain and simple. One thing we can do for the Tribulation saints is to leave behind lots of physical copies of the Bible. Online Bibles will be susceptible to take down and alteration.

That really struck a chord for me yesterday when it was brought up in the Prophesy Roundtable, about leaving Bibles and perhaps other Christian reading materials behind for the Tribulation saints. It's hard to imagine what it will be like for them, but as in the past (and even today) when Christians suffered horribly for their faith, I know God will equip them with His super abundant grace.

Yes, I've heard it taught from different pastors that the Antichrist will be Jewish...and that he will be a Gentile. Either way, if he is to bring about a false peace, wouldn't he have to appeal to both sides of the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East? Especially if he's going to facilitate the rebuilding of the Third Temple...? Thank you, Britt!

Yes, it's likely the world will perceive him as a "peacemaker." I could also envision the rebuilding of the Temple coming about from within Israel following God's supernatural destruction of the Gog of Magog invaders (Ezekiel 38-39). Those passages state the entire world will know God intervened, so it seems likely many secular/atheist Israelis will have a change of heart and sign on to the rebuilding of the Temple. Just a thought...
