Hi Britt and Jenny and family, God's blessings for you all. Well I have used AI as a Google search, but other than that, I never do anything else. I don't think the young people really understand how dangerous this is, and the unsaved. I suppose there's even Christians use it.
I'm just a old fashion person. I really, to this day, don't know much about a computer 😕. Just called me unlearn, I guess, but for sure you can call me Saved. AMEN. Thanks Britt and Jenny for all you do. You and your family are always in my prayers 🙏 ❤️.
Hey Britt, I just wanted to tell you this short story:My great niece, Who's visiting with the family from Kentucky, Somehow the subject of AI came up. She's 13 yrs.old, She makes straight A's in school. She wants to be a doctor. She said in her Algebra 2 class the teacher gave a end of the school year a test. She said, a boy in her class used AI to get the answers to all the problems, She asked him how did you get all the questions right? He said, Well I got 1 wrong so the teacher wouldn't be suspicious of it. She told me that's so wrong. Children will not learn anything, if AI does their school work for them. Her mom said, they weren't supposed to have their phones in the class room. Well, guess they didn't check him 🙄
I this has been an increasing problem for schools, both grade school and higher education. We already have major problems with people who haven't been taught to think critically. In my opinion, A.I. will only make it worse...
I won’t knowingly use AI. Period. I say “knowingly” because it’s everywhere. There are so many things powered by AI at this point that inevitably we use it daily without our knowledge. Come Jesus…come quickly!!
Yes, I know what you mean. Both Google and DuckDuckGo (and I'm assuming other search engines) are now automatically showing you A.I. results first for most searches. And more and more, it's embedded in new devices. A lot of times, we probably don't realize we're already using it.
Britt, I am so glad that you covered this topic! This is possibly far more serious than most people realize. God's wisdom is infallible and real, but AI makes mistakes. Maybe that's why it's called "artificial."
Yes, definitely. We can rely on God's Word, but A.I. is "trained" on the collective output of our fallen world. Even when it doesn't make egregious mistakes like telling a user to mix bleach and vinegar, it's likely to give biased answers to the most important questions.
