This is the End Times Financial System They Want to Trap You In (Part 3 of 3)
Step 3: Digital Identification
The Book of Revelation describes an end times financial system often referred to as “the mark of the beast system”:
"He required everyone — small and great, rich and poor, free and slave — to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name." Revelation 13:16-17 (NLT)
The construction of a system identical in capability and function is underway right now. It’s primarily composed of three elements:
1) Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC)
3) Digital IDs
In Parts 1 & 2 of this series, we looked at central bank digital currency (CBDC) and tokenized assets.
In Part 3, we look at digital IDs – what are they, what’s happening right now (current status), and why the public will buy into the idea they need them.
Make no mistake, this system is designed as a trap to enslave the people within it. And while I believe the rapture of the church will take place before the mark of the beast system appears during the Tribulation, the infrastructure for such a system is under construction right now. That means, as Christians, we may experience some or all of the elements of this system before we depart this world, so make sure you’re prepared.
What Are Digital IDs?
The third element of the new system they’re rolling out is digital identification or digital ID.
Simply put, a digital ID is an electronic representation of personally identifying information that can be used to verify the identity of a person. It can contain digital versions of various identification documents, such as driver's licenses, birth certificates, medical records, and other information unique to a specific person.
Ultimately, governments will roll out digital ID's as a means to verify the identities of those transacting in central bank digital currency (CBDC) and tokenized assets. They’ll claim digital ID's are necessary to prevent fraud and abuse. But because digital ID's will centralize all information associated with an individual, they’ll actually make a person more vulnerable to identity theft. A single hack, and every aspect of your life is compromised.
In reality, digital ID isn’t about what’s best for you – it’s about what’s best for government. By centralizing all information associated with you as an individual, it streamlines their ability to surveil and control your life.
For example, governments are increasingly pushing digital IDs as a means of eliminating anonymous Internet posts.
As The New York Post reported during the 2024 U.S. presidential primaries:
"Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley on Tuesday proposed forcing social media users to verify their identities before posting, citing “national security” concerns.
The former South Carolina governor’s plan is part of a set of social media reforms aimed at transparency — which she pushed during an appearance on Fox News — that has rankled some of her primary opponents.
“When I get into office, the first thing we have to do, social media accounts, social media companies, they have to show America their algorithms,” Haley said. “Let us see why they’re pushing what they’re pushing.”
“The second thing is, every person on social media should be verified, by their name. That’s, first of all, it’s a national security threat. When you do that, all of a sudden, people have to stand by what they say. And it gets rid of the Russian bots, the Iranian bots and the Chinese bots. And then you’re going to get some civility when people know their name is next to what they say, and they know their pastor and their family members are going to see it,” the 51-year-old former Trump administration official added."
According to Nikki Haley, it’s a national security threat if you’re not verified by name on social media! She wants “transparency,” but the transparency she wants is not for government, it’s for U.S. citizens. Politicians like Haley view average citizens as a threat. They want to unmask anonymity online so they can identify political dissidents and take action against them.
What’s Happening Now?
Digital ID systems give governments centralized access to massive amounts of their citizens’ personal data, insight into all their activities, the ability to track and surveil every aspect of a person’s life, and the ability to cut off access to vital services once digital ID becomes a necessary precondition for accessing those services.
Because of the immense power and control digital ID offers, it’s no surprise we’re seeing governments and central banks rolling them out under the guise of “innovation.”
As Think.Digital Partners states:
"Since 2015, 98 countries have announced plans to create national digital ID systems.
In April 2024, the United Nations announced that it was creating UN Digital ID in an attempt to make a universally interoperable global digital identity framework. One month later, the European Union passed eIDAS 2.0, a standardised framework for digital identity management.
Many countries have already launched digital ID systems. India launched Aadhaar, Australia launched the Government Digital ID System, the UAE launched UAE PASS. The UK government’s digital identity system is GOV.UK OneLogin."
Again, “98 countries have announced plans to create national digital ID systems," and some have already rolled them out.
Poland is one of those countries. As The Guardian reports:
"Much is being said about Poland’s economy potentially overtaking Britain by 2030, but in some areas Poles are already ahead.
They can produce a digital identity card or driving licence and use an array of public services using a mobile app, mObywatel. When accessing it for the first time, users have to verify their identity by logging into electronic banking, using a digitally enabled physical ID card, or through a special “trusted profile” online.
The app, which has 8 million users, has a myriad features such as allowing Poles to produce a digital version of their ID, check how many penalty points they have on their driving licence, look up their vehicle’s history, check air quality locally and find their polling station.
Rafał Sionkowski, a senior government official working on the app, said keeping the core team of developers within public institutions allowed them to move faster as they knew databases were digitised and could be made available to citizens quickly.
He said the key breakthrough would come as more EU countries develop similar apps ahead of the bloc’s new eIDAS 2.0 regulation on electronic identification, authentication and trust services."
All of the so-called “benefits” mentioned in this article, when it comes digital ID, are freely available on government websites, yet the European Union is pushing hard for the adoption of a digital system of tyranny. They rolled out digital ID in 2024 with individual member nations required to rollout localized initiatives by 2026. They also announced the digital euro will rollout in October.
Meanwhile, Australia is pushing digital ID as well. As reported in BiometricUpdate.com:
"Commonwealth Bank (CBA), National Australia Bank (NAB), ANZ and Westpac – the four biggest banks in Australia – have signed onto ConnectID’s digital identity service, offering it to more than 10 million customers, according to a company release.
ConnectID, an initiative of Australian Payments Plus (AP+), is digital identity exchange that serves as “a bridge between trusted Identity Providers (such as banks) and the business requesting the information.”
“Most of the data people frequently need to share, when buying something online or signing up for a new service, is already stored by these large institutions, and with ConnectID this can be reused to verify themselves as they interact online.”
Andrew Black, Managing Director of ConnectID at AP+, emphasizes the significance of the country’s major banks’ support for digital ID. “ConnectID represents a game-changer for individuals who want more control over their data. Our solution empowers people to verify their identity securely without oversharing, and the support of the big four banks offering millions of Australians a trusted and seamless way to use digital identity is vital.”
Soon, digital ID will become a requirement to access banking services in Australia. They deny it for now, but don’t doubt that’s where it’s all going.
And the same is true in regard to flying in the United States. More than a dozen states have rolled out digital ID, and those digital IDs are now interoperable with TSA “credential authentication” technology at airports.
As we read in CVille Right Now (emphasis mine):
"The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) now accepts Virginia-issued mobile driver’s licenses (mIDs) at security checkpoints equipped with digital ID readers nationwide. Virginia residents who download the Virginia Mobile ID app to their smartphones can use it as a secure digital version of their driver’s license or ID card. This provides an alternative to presenting a physical ID and boarding pass during TSA screening.
To enroll, individuals must have a valid Virginia driver’s license or ID card and download the Virginia mID app from the Apple Store or Google Play. Travelers are advised to carry a physical ID or passport as a backup.
The digital IDs are currently accepted at more than 230 airports equipped with TSA credential authentication technology units. These units verify the traveler’s identity and confirm same-day ticketing without requiring a boarding pass, though one is still needed at the airline gate. The system also captures and matches a real-time photo of the traveler, which is deleted after clearance."
“Don’t worry,” they say. “When we scan your face, we immediately delete the data!” Do you really believe that? Even if you do, notice it says it “matches” the traveler photo. This implies they already have your photo in their massive database – which they do, because it’s part of the digital ID system. Yet, they continually deceive people into thinking they aren’t compiling a surveillance database.
Their actions make their intentions clear. They want to create this all-inclusive system of digital control. Otherwise, they wouldn’t roll these systems out. After all, the benefits are almost entirely exclusive to the government at the expense of the average citizen.
And far from fulfilling all the promises, these digital ID rollouts haven’t been without their problems. As Think.Digital Partners reports:
"However, Key State Capital noted that poorly implemented digital ID systems have already caused billions of dollars in damage to individuals and governments. It cited the 2017 roll out of Aadhaar in India, which is the world’s most extensive digital ID system with over a billion active users. However, Aadhaar was built using a centralised platform which the company said failed to properly segregate access.
“Within just two years, Aadhaar user data was leaked, resulting in the largest data breach in world history. Similar but smaller breaches have already been reported with the digital ID systems in countries such as Turkey and Switzerland,” it said in a release."
The implementation problems and the negative aspects of digital ID couldn’t be more clear. Yet despite these problems (and all the past government promises digital ID will keep your information secure), governments continue to move forward with their digital rollout plans.

Again, as Think.Digital Partners states:
"The company went on to note that despite challenges, governments continue to move forward with the rollout of digital ID.
In 2018, the EU mandated the creation of the EU Digital Identity Wallet and will require all EU member states to implement local versions by 2026. Around the same time, China began small-scale local trials of its “social credit system.” Countries such as Brazil, the UAE and the United States are now all rolling out similar systems albeit at different paces."
As this passage makes clear, “governments continue to move forward with the rollout of digital ID.” Why aren’t people putting up more of a fight to stop it?
How the Public Be Sold On It
While the dangers of a digital ID system to freedom and liberty should be clear, the public pushback is barely noticeable. Why? I believe the reasons are many, including ignorance, naivety, and outright exhaustion when it comes to fighting back against these types of intrusive government measures.
False promises and government propaganda are another reason. For example, look at all the assuring language and flowery adjectives used in this European Commission press release (emphasis mine):
“The rules on establishing a European Digital Identity entered into force on Monday. They will pave the way for all EU citizens and residents to benefit from a personal European Digital Identity Wallet in 2026.
The European Digital Identity Wallet will consist of a mobile app issued in each Member State. It will allow EU citizens and residents to identify online in full security to access public and private online services all over Europe.
Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice-President for a Europe Fit for the Digital Age said: “Today marks an important step in the development of the EU Digital Identity Wallet. About two years from now, every European will be able to safely manage personal digital documents and access public and private online services with full control of personal data from a personal mobile app offered on a voluntary basis to all European citizens and residents.”
Thierry Breton, Commissioner for Internal Market said: “The entry into force of the European digital identity rules is a major step towards the EU’s 2030 goal of giving European citizens the possibility to use a secure and privacy-preserving digital identity. It will give citizens control over their personal data in the digital world and strengthen Europe's technological sovereignty.”
Like most government programs, the language used to describe digital ID is the exact opposite of what it is. It isn’t “privacy-preserving.” It doesn’t “give citizens control,” and it won’t always be “voluntary.” But until the rollout is complete, they’ll continue to assure the public through their propaganda.
Meanwhile, governments hire consultants like McKinsey and Company to help them innumerate the many ways to sell the public.
As noted in the graphic above (which is promoting digital ID as beneficial), they’ll sell the public on at least six reasons you’ll need a digital ID (all of which reveal how they plan to push people into this system):
#1 – To Open Accounts Online
Once they roll out digital ID, it will increasingly become a requirement in order to streamline online registration and authentication, and financial services firms will make it a requirement to access services online. They're already rolling out eKYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) as a digital process of verifying client identity.
#2 – To Be Employed
They'll connect digital ID with corporate human resources for recruitment (perhaps making it a requirement to use websites such as LinkedIn), automated background checks, and payroll. They'll integrate digital ID as part of the employment process until it becomes a requirement to hold a job. Think of how many people who didn't want to get the COVID shots nevertheless complied so they wouldn’t lose their jobs. When digital ID becomes a requirement for employment, adoption will be near universal.
#3 – To Register a Business
Think you'll workaround the employment requirement by starting your own business? They'll make digital ID a requirement to register and operate a business. But of course, they won't put it in those terms. They call it "formalized business registration."
#4 – To Access to Government Services
They'll also make digital ID a requirement to access government services. To receive social security or other benefits, you'll need a digital ID. To file your taxes, you'll need a digital ID.
#5 – To Participate in Government
They'll make digital ID a requirement to participate in civic society. Online voting (which should be illegal due to its vulnerability to fraud), verification of political donations, and school enrollment will all require digital ID. Eventually, voting in person will require a digital ID as well.
#6 – To Participate in the New Digital System
Finally, they'll make digital ID a requirement to participate in the new digital system they're rolling out on a global basis. Any transactions involving tokenized assets or central bank digital currency (which will eventually be every transaction) will require authentication via digital ID.
Convenience vs. Inconvenience
In the end, all these factors add up to “convenience.” Adopt the digital ID, and life will be “easier” – fast moving lines, quick payment processing, and access to the places and services you want.
Don’t adopt the digital ID, and life will “harder” – forget the fast line at the airport (you need to be manually verified at the cost of missing your connecting flight), no more access to online banking and financial services (you need to come into the bank and be verified in person), and on and on.
As BiometricUpdate.com reports:
"The presumptive appeal on both ends of a bank ID transaction is not hard to understand.
For customers, only having to have one place that stores their data, which they can point to when others ask for identity verification, reduces the need to create endless account sign-ins.
Businesses will see “a reduced need to request, manage, or store critical information from consumers.” In retail, real estate, human resources and other sectors, this means reduced risk."
If all those incentives fail to work, financial crisis will work. It’s what will take the world to a point of near universal adoption of digital ID.
The Aftermath of Financial Crisis
As outlined in How the Current Global Financial Crisis Leads to Biblical Tyranny (in 10 Steps), we're on the precipice of the greatest economic and financial crisis in history.
When the system breaks, governments and central bankers have "the solution" conveniently waiting in the wings.
Imagine a crisis where:
A massive number of banks fail
Some customers have their deposits used to “bail-in” the failed banks
Private and public pension funds experience widespread failure
A failure of the financial system leads to many customers “losing” the stocks and bonds they think they own
Every bank in the world temporarily closes as global credit markets freeze
An epidemic of bankruptcies leads to massive unemployment
How will such a crisis be managed? How will they restore credit markets and the orderly functioning of the financial system? It’s easy. As previously mentioned, once the system breaks, “the solution” will be “found” conveniently waiting in the wings. As you’ve seen, they’re already preparing and testing that system now.
Imagine a scenario where the following happens:
You lose the funds in your bank account
You lose the stocks in your retirement account
You lose your job or other sources of income
What will you do? Where will you turn?
Now, imagine the government responds with this:
We can restore the funds in your bank account (with CBDC)
We can restore the stocks and bonds in your retirement account (with tokenized assets)
We can provide you with extended unemployment benefits (pending your adoption of digital ID)
Most people won’t think twice. They’ll gladly adopt these solutions to rebuild their financial lives.
And once enough people do, everyone else who wants to participate in society will have to do the same. It will become impossible to operate in the modern world without being a part of this new digital system.
The World Is Sleepwalking Into Tyranny
Unfortunately, this system is already rolling out. The greatest economic and financial crisis in history will facilitate the final transition, but the new system is being built right now. For instance, if you live in Europe, a digital euro is coming this October. And the EU-mandated EU Digital Identity Wallet requires all EU member states to implement local versions of digital ID by 2026.
Via the Atlantic Council Central Bank Digital Currency Tracker, you can track the rollout of CBDC all over the planet:
The Web of Trust visualizes the growth of digital ID throughout the world:
I’m not yet aware of a website tracking the ongoing growth of tokenized assets, but they’re growing month-by-month, and I believe they’ll rollout in widespread fashion in the aftermath of the coming crisis.
How to Escape the Beast System
So how do you avoid all of this? A lot people ask me questions about how to escape the beast system. Often, what they’re really looking for is a way to circumvent the system in this world. That is, they want me to say, “Buy gold, store food, find a cave in the mountains, etc.” But the reality is, there’s only one escape from the beast system that will roll out during the Tribulation – Jesus Christ.
If you know Jesus, He promises to keep you from the Tribulation:
"Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong to this world." Revelation 3:10 (NLT)
This underscores the importance of having a born-again, personal relationship with Jesus. He’s the only way to escape not only the Tribulation (assuming you’re reading this before the rapture of the church), but more importantly, Jesus is the only way to be reconciled with God.
After all, the Bible says:
"For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard." Romans 3:23 (NLT)
That means all of us are sinners. And the Bible also says this:
"For the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23 (NLT)
This means our sin has earned us a place in hell – eternal torment – where we will be forever separated from a Holy God.
But fortunately, there’s Good News. In fact, there’s Great News! The Bible also says this:
"But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." Romans 5:8 (NLT)
and
"For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 (NLT)
Jesus shed His blood on the cross and died as a sacrifice to pay for our sins. Because of Him, we are reconciled with God. This is why John the Baptist said:
“Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! He is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘A man is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.’ I did not recognize him as the Messiah, but I have been baptizing with water so that he might be revealed to Israel.” John 1:29-31 (NLT)
Not only did Jesus die for our sins, but after three days and three nights in the grave, He rose in victory over death! And the same victory over death is available to all of those who are born again:
"The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you." Romans 8:11 (NLT)
Jesus invites everyone to come and follow Him:
"'Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, 'Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.'" John 7:37-38 (NLT)
So if you don’t already know Him, come to Jesus and He will transform your life:
"'Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.'" Revelation 3:20-21 (NLT)
Preparing for What’s Coming…
Again, the most important preparation you can make – in fact, the most important thing you can do at all in your life – is to develop a born-again relationship with Jesus Christ.
As Jesus says:
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." John 14:6 (NLT)
Make sure you know Jesus before you do anything else.
But also know this – even though Jesus promised to rapture the church before the Tribulation (Revelation 3:10), He did not promised to keep us from the trials and sorrows of this world (John 16:33).
As such, Christians may experience some or all of the elements of a massive economic and financial crisis as well as the oppressive financial system that will rollout afterward. So make sure you’re prepared!

This is definitely in small forms already beginning. It appears harmless to most. I had to resubmit info to access the app for the electric company where I live. It’s how I pay my bill and manage my account. It had an “enable BIOMETRICS” button. Why was “biometrics” in all caps? Why? To get your attention - and it worked. This was described as “more convenient.” Good grief.
Hi Britt and Jenny and family, God's blessings for you all. I live on SS, and I pray, Jesus Christ will take us up, before I will be forced to take this system. I know Jesus as my Savior and Lord. He will never leave us or forsake us. I know, I always say the same thing. I pray we are in Heaven, before this happens 🙏. We don't know the day nor hour, but it will happen, The Rapture. Thank you for all you do. God's blessings for you all.
