Watched the stream for awhile but i have to say the assessment you made about Iran closing the straits is simplistic and doesn't properly account for the response of the US. Why would the US allow Iran to call the shots regarding shipping traffic? Iran allowing their customers shipping through while harassing others assumes 1) the US navy doesn't intervene to stop Iranian tankers and 2) the US navy and AF doesn't punish Iran for harassing others. The first drone or missile that is launched will end in the destruction of the missile, the launch capability, and surrounding assets.
The only reason the Houthis stopped harassing shipping is because they got tired of having bombs dropped on them 24/7. They stopped and so the bombing stopped. If they resume, they know what will happen.
A ground invasion is not necessary. AirPower and tomahawks will achieve the desired results quicker.
