With all the wars, rumors of wars, injustice, and the evil we see in this world, it's easy to allow the day-to-day news cycle to pull you into a vortex of depression or even fear and anxiety.
Wow! How timely your article is. I've found myself being a little down and apprehensive lately. Thank you for a wonderful reminder that Jesus is with us always. We may forget that, but He never forgets us. Just like He said "Lo, I am with you always.
The instant I scrolled to the little nest, I was calmed. What a perfect pic to take the mind off human wreckage. My trick for calming down is to face the problem squarely and do what is needed. Since childhood shows us the boogeyman is only under kids' beds, let's remember it's their imagination run amok, not any real monster. Adults are supposed to have shined the 'reality' light on their problems ahead of time, to avoid that. Don't kid yourself early in the month that you have plenty of money ~ hold off on the new shoes until you DO. Half of our 'problems' are caused by not paying attention. After you grow up, you'll realize the boogeyman is the Tax Guy, and you can outwit him!
You are always so encouraging!!
Thanks, Denise! I'm glad you think so :)
Thanks Britt!

Thank you so much for this encouraging reminder to "turn our eyes upon Jesus." And we loved the pics of the baby birds in the wreath!
I'll have some more pictures soon. They're growing up!
