About This Substack
Welcome to End Times Bible Prophecy with Britt Gillette, a newsletter exploring today’s news headlines and how they relate to end times bible prophecy. The purpose of this newsletter is to use a biblical worldview to help others understand what’s happening in the world. In doing so, it’s my hope people will come to recognize Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah (Acts 5:42) and discover a life filled with hope, peace, and encouragement. For the essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus (Revelation 19:10).
I’ve studied the Bible for more than 30 years, with a particular passion for the study of bible prophecy. My work has appeared online since 2002 with numerous articles on Rapture Ready, Prophecy News Watch, and my personal website (no longer updated). My videos appear on YouTube, Rumble, and Odysee, and I’ve made numerous guest appearances on other programs. In addition, I’ve written several books on bible prophecy with (God willing) more to come :)

Why Do You Have a Premium Subscription Option?
Why do I have a paid option? Am I greedy? No. You can be sure if my motivation was to maximize profit, I wouldn’t choose the method of making articles and videos about bible prophecy, then make them freely available on other platforms and websites, take a book it took me six months to write and make it free, and give away premium subscriptions to those with financial hardships. If that’s what you think (and yes, I’ve received some feedback along those lines), then I encourage you to consider a different perspective.
For example, prior to launching this substack, The End Times Bible Prophecy Newsletter was hosted on MailChimp. While the newsletter was free to subscribers, it was not free to me and my family. MailChimp charged a monthly fee based on the size of the email list. So the larger the list got, the more we paid. When we made the move to Substack, we were paying MailChimp $132 per month. Substack charges us $0.
How is Substack able to do that? Substack doesn’t charge to host a newsletter because they make money from receiving a portion of the premium subscriptions generated on their platform. I believe the Substack platform is the best of its kind on the Internet. They value free speech and content creators, and I want to support them for all the work they put into creating an ever improving platform where we can connect with one another and share the valuable information we share. Therefore, my substack offers a premium subscription option.
In addition to that, thousands of people read the articles and watch the videos on this substack to gain valuable insight into world events and how they relate to bible prophecy. 95% of those articles and videos are free for anyone to read or watch. But keep in mind, those articles and videos are not free for me and my family. Creating them takes many hours of research and comes at significant personal cost.
My wife and I have three children, and a number of responsibilities we juggle throughout the day. The work I do here writing articles and making videos is the equivalent of a second full-time job. Every hour spent creating an article or a video is an hour not spent with my family. It’s an hour not spent praying, sleeping, exercising, resting, or some other important activity. I believe in making the overwhelming majority of my work here free in an effort to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible. However, I also believe in supporting people if I value their work. If you share the same belief, then consider a premium subscription. If you choose to pay, it says you value what’s published here, and you want to support my family, my writing, my videos, and my research.
A premium subscription also comes with these additional benefits:
1) The Ability to Comment - This could change in the future, but for now, comments are only available to premium subscribers. Why? Making comments available only to premium subscribers eliminates SPAM and trolls. This saves me countless hours of time. If I didn’t do this, I would have to constantly moderate comments (and I would rather spend time with my family). If you think that’s wrong or greedy, so be it – I’m still going to choose my family.
2) Archived Posts - As previously mentioned, 95% of all content created here is free to everyone. However, one month after publication, each post is archived behind a paywall (at least on Substack - videos remain available on YouTube, Rumble, and Odysee). In addition, many of the written articles remain available on Rapture Ready and Prophecy News Watch. The reason for doing this is to provide an added benefit and show gratitude for those who support this work.
3) Premium Posts - From time to time, I do intend to show gratitude to premium subscribers by sending them exclusive content. How often will I do this? I don't know. I don't want to make any promises I can’t keep, and I certainly don’t want to create articles or videos just to create content. But just as I believe in supporting people if I value their work, I also believe in providing people with value in gratitude for their support. So some content will be exclusive to premium subscribers. Again, if you think this is wrong or greedy, so be it. I view it as giving thanks and showing appreciation for those who have been generous in their support of my work.
Ultimately, a premium subscription is for those who want to bless our family and provide extra encouragement by supporting this work. Premium subscriber or free, you’ll have the same access to 95% of all content.
What is a Founding Member?
Founding members are those who really love this publication. They choose to pay an amount above an annual premium subscription because they want to support the work we do here. Founding Members enjoy all the same benefits as regular premium subscribers, along with the knowledge they’re helping to bless my family and support this publication. This is solely for those who want to give in support of the mission here.
This is really no different than making a donation. For years, people have reached out asking if they could support the work I do, but they couldn’t because I didn’t have a donation link. The Founding Member option now makes donations possible for those who want to make one.
