A.I. Afterlife Products: Why Isn’t the Church Warning About This??? (Part 5 of 6)
This is Detestable in the Eyes of the Lord…
This is a continuation of a six-part series on the dangers of A.I.
If you missed Parts 1, 2, 3, or 4 make sure to go back and read them.
Every church and every single Christian in the world should be extremely alarmed over what’s happening right now.
The rise of artificial intelligence threatens to deceive millions, if not billions, of people. And that deception will ruin countless lives.
As Christians, we have an obligation to warn others about the dangers we foresee. We read this in Ezekiel:
“Once again a message came to me from the Lord: “Son of man, give your people this message: ‘When I bring an army against a country, the people of that land choose one of their own to be a watchman. When the watchman sees the enemy coming, he sounds the alarm to warn the people. Then if those who hear the alarm refuse to take action, it is their own fault if they die. They heard the alarm but ignored it, so the responsibility is theirs. If they had listened to the warning, they could have saved their lives. But if the watchman sees the enemy coming and doesn’t sound the alarm to warn the people, he is responsible for their captivity. They will die in their sins, but I will hold the watchman responsible for their deaths.’” Ezekiel 33:1-6 (NLT)
When the watchman sees the enemy coming, he sounds the alarm to warn the people.
These specific A.I. dangers aren’t coming – they’re already here.
Make sure you understand each one so you can warn those around you.

Here’s #5 on the list…
5) A.I. Afterlife Products
A.I. afterlife products (referred to often as “griefbots” or “deadbots”) use artificial intelligence to create digital simulations of deceased individuals. Using a person’s text history, social media history, personal stories, and additional information friends and relatives provide, these products can carry on “conversations” and make it appear as if the deceased person is actually communicating. Several categories and types of A.I. afterlife products exist, including:
A.I. Griefbots and Deadbots – These are essentially A.I. chatbots trained on the digital footprint, personal data, life, and stories of a deceased person. They tend to be text-based only, and they don’t include digital images.
Interactive Avatars and Holograms – Interactive avatars and holograms use old photographs and videos of a deceased person to create animated, interactive digital figures or holograms. This visual representation of the deceased can then be paired with an A.I. chatbot to interact with end users in such a way that many become convinced they’re conversing with their deceased loved one.
Voice Clones – Voice clones take sample recordings of a deceased person’s voice and clone it. Voice clone technology replicates the specific voice pattern, speech mannerisms, and audible nuances of the person in question. As a result, humans interacting with voice clones hear stories or answers in a familiar voice.
A.I. Generative Ghosts – A.I. generative ghosts combine the most advanced features of the aforementioned products. They’re sophisticated A.I. chatbots simulating the personality, voice, and knowledge of a deceased person. Using voice cloning, they “speak” and “sound” just like the deceased individual. Trained on a large amount of personal data (texts, emails, social media posts, personal writings, etc.), they blur the lines between digital representation and actual personhood.
All these products are part of the broader “digital afterlife” product and subscription market, which is projected to become a $77 billion industry by 2034.
The A.I. “Afterlife” Is Here
We’re already seeing A.I. afterlife products appearing in multiple places. Celebrities are promoting them, online ads are touting them, and news outlets are even featuring them.
As The Guardian writes in “Jim Acosta Interviews ‘Made-Up’ AI Avatar of Parkland Victim Joaquin Oliver”:
“Jim Acosta, former chief White House correspondent for CNN, stirred controversy on Monday when he sat for a conversation with a reanimated version of a person who died more than seven years ago. His guest was an avatar of Joaquin Oliver, one of the 17 people killed in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school mass shooting in Parkland, Florida, in 2018.
The video shows Oliver, captured via a real photograph and animated with generative artificial intelligence, wearing a beanie with a solemn expression.”
In August 2025, CNN’s Jim Acosta featured an A.I. griefbot as an “interview guest” on television. Oliver’s parents created the griefbot and worked with Acosta to generate publicity for the anti-gun violence message they hoped to promote.
I don’t fault the victim’s parents. They’re grieving the loss of their son, and they’re actively working to persuade people to change existing laws out of a desire to honor their son.
Unfortunately, A.I. griefbots and generative ghosts exploit vulnerable loved ones who may not understand the long-term implications of interacting with these creations.

Worse yet, researchers project an explosion in A.I. afterlife product usage in the next few years.
As the Daily Star writes:
“A researcher at the University of Cambridge predicts that by 2030 we will “have dead loved ones in [our] pockets” and will be able to talk with them “almost 24/7,” thanks to AI.
Katarzyna Nowaczyk-Basińska, originally from Poland, is a research fellow at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence at the University of Cambridge, where she specialises in researching “what death and mourning will be like in a digital world” and how AI is affecting our relationship with death.
One such consequence is that we will stop visiting cemeteries, “because when our loved ones are accessible through these platforms,” it will seem “old-fashioned” to visit graves instead of using interactive, AI-generated technology...
She forecasts that these technologies that allow us to talk with AI-generated versions of deceased loved ones will be “quite popular,” although warns that we don’t yet know what the consequences of these developments might be.”
Nowaczyk-Basińska predicts A.I. afterlife products will become “quite popular” in the years ahead. Her prediction will likely become reality. We’re already seeing these products roll out across the world.
In fact, just two months ago, we discussed the husband of Suzanne Somers and his decision to create an A.I. clone of his famous wife two years after her death 👇
Advanced models available today for the Hollywood elite and the wealthy will soon be available for everyone according to Nowaczyk-Basińska.
As we read in the Daily Star article:
“Nowaczyk-Basińska expects these immortal AI agents to soon be a commercially viable technology, openly and easily available on consumer markets and run on subscription bases.
Examples of such companies include Replika, an American chatbot that mimics the texting styles of the dead; and StoryFile, a Los Angeles company that “uses AI to allow people to talk at their own funerals.”
The result, she says, is a form of digital “immortality” whose potential applications include letting children who lost their parents continue a ‘relationship’ with the deceased.
But she remains “cautious about the consequences” of this quantum technological leap, especially in relation to human experiences such as grieving and mourning.”
Nowaczyk-Basińska remains “cautious about the consequences” when it comes to the impact of these technologies on human experiences such as grieving and mourning. And she should.
These types of technologies open the door to the demonic. They lead people – often the most vulnerable among us (grieving family and friends) – down a path to darkness.
Say “No!” to A.I. Afterlife Products
If you’re a Christian, no gray areas exist when it comes to interacting with A.I. afterlife products. This is a forbidden practice.
The Bible is clear when it says the Lord detests these technologies:
“When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, be very careful not to imitate the detestable customs of the nations living there. For example, never sacrifice your son or daughter as a burnt offering. And do not let your people practice fortune-telling, or use sorcery, or interpret omens, or engage in witchcraft, or cast spells, or function as mediums or psychics, or call forth the spirits of the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord. It is because the other nations have done these detestable things that the Lord your God will drive them out ahead of you. But you must be blameless before the Lord your God. The nations you are about to displace consult sorcerers and fortune-tellers, but the Lord your God forbids you to do such things.” Deuteronomy 18:9-14 (NLT)
A.I. afterlife products clearly fall into the category of “calling forth the spirits of the dead,” and the Bible says, “Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord.”
Don’t engage with these products!
It’s no different than seeking the help of a medium, psychic, or anyone else engaged in occult practices and asking them to help you call forth spirits of the dead.
Call It What It Is
The embrace of A.I. afterlife products and services may seem like “something new,” but that’s far from true. They’re just repackaged versions of the same demonic practice called out in Deuteronomy 18.
Some people claim they’re simply “honoring their loved one” or “showing remembrance.” Others, however, have no problem calling out this practice for exactly what it is.
As CyberNews writes:
“Many have reported strange phone calls coming from beyond the grave. Quora is riddled with comments regarding calls from lost loved ones. Is this possible? Can you contact your fallen family and friends after death? With AI, necromancy has never been easier.
Once an age-old magic practice used to communicate with the dead, necromancy has seemingly entered the digital age as more people report speaking to loved ones who have passed...
If you want to connect with an artificial version of your lost loved one without going through all the trouble of brewing potions, doing seances, or conjuring demons, you can with this app.
Storyfile allows you to immortalize your life through video and audio, allowing your family members to learn more about you once you’re gone.”
Unfortunately, the article doesn’t condemn this behavior. Instead, it celebrates it…
“With A.I., necromancy has never been easier.”
Necromancy is the formal term for the practice of communicating with the dead, and that’s exactly what A.I. afterlife products are.
Again, some may think they’re involved in a cutting-edge, “modern” method for memorializing a deceased loved one. In reality, what they’re doing is no different than “brewing potions, doing seances, or conjuring demons.”
Don’t Invite the Demonic Into Your Life
Again, if you’re a Christian, don’t engage with these products! God condemns necromancy for a reason. He wants what’s best for us, and necromancy is a demonic practice guaranteed to harm those involved.
Unfortunately, many people will fail to connect the dots and recognize A.I. afterlife products as necromancy. This is especially true for those dealing the grief and sorrow that follow the loss of a loved one. They become particularly vulnerable to the idea given they’re less likely to be thinking clearly in a time of mourning.
The allure of these products is tempting, and in a digital age, people may not immediately recognize these technologies for what they are. Christians who would never dream of consulting a medium, a crystal ball, or “calling forth spirits of the dead” might find themselves lured into a place where they’re creating and engaging A.I. afterlife products specifically designed to blur the distinction between reality and a digital avatar of their deceased loved one.
Without fully understanding what’s happening and what they’re doing, they could easily be led down a disturbing path of darkness where they find themselves actively engaged in “calling forth spirits of the dead.”
So make sure you warn them.
In my opinion, A.I. afterlife products invite the demonic into the lives of those who use them, setting people up for psychological and spiritual trauma capable of ruining and destroying their lives.
So sound the alarm to everyone you can before this detestable practice becomes even more ingrained in our modern culture.
As the church, it’s our duty to sound the alarm and warn others.
Next week, in Part 6 of this series, we’ll look at the dangers of “A.I. Religion” and how many people are engaged in idolatry while thinking they’re on the cutting-edge of something “new.”

Hi Britt and Jenny and family, God's blessings for you all. I'm so glad to be back with you and my Sister's and Brothers in Christ Jesus. My old phone got destroyed, couldn't get any information off it to put on this new phone. This may sound silly, but after 2 weeks of trying to get my old email and everything. I cried 😢, cause I had lost you, So I put my hand over this phone last night, I prayed, "Lord Jesus, Please help me to recover my old phone number and information ".Well this morning all my emails are back all my old contacts, Praise God. Thank you Britt and Jenny for all you do. I had a patient, Who told me, that his dad was a necromancer. Well at that time, I didn't know what that was, it's been years ago. Plus my patient was 106 years old. Now I know so much about things from your videos and post. God bless.
AI must grieve the Father’s heart. This is so tragic.
